From Family Legacy to Welcoming Retreat

The Green Bell sits on the historic Malatchie Farms, a sixth-generation family property in middle Georgia. Once home to timber, pecan groves, cattle, and row crops, the land has long been a gathering place for work, play, and community.

Today, The Green Bell carries on that legacy as a welcoming retreat surrounded by natural beauty, where music, food, and friendship feel right at home.

A History of Hospitality

All communications are personally handled by the proprietress of the Green Bell, Jennie Hart Robinson. Beyond being a steward of her family’s beautiful property, she also has decades of experience in hospitality and event planning.

For generations, the Green Bell has welcomed Jennie’s friends and family to celebrate life’s special moments and weddings—including those of two of her sons. With its timeless charm and intimate atmosphere, the Green Bell has become more than just a venue; it is a place where memories are made and traditions are cherished.

“There is a tradition in our family of ringing a bell after an especially good time together. To ‘give someone a bell’ ensures love and peace until we gather again. I hope that your families will ring in many happy times at the Green Bell.”
